Naruto Manga and Anime Crossover Announced at New York Comic Con

At New York Comic Con, Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto announced a new manga called Naruto: Shadow Rising and an anime crossover with Ninku.

The manga’s story has not been revealed, and its release date and publication schedule are unknown.

The crossover is planned as a four-episode series bringing together characters from both franchises.

In its story, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura get lost in another world while carrying out a mission from Kakashi, and meet a boy named Fūsuke.

Kishimoto and Ninku creator Koji Kiriyama are supervising the anime, which is in production.

Both projects are part of Project Rasengan, an initiative to expand the Naruto franchise through 2029.

More details about the manga are expected at Jump Festa 2027, but no release dates have been announced for either project.
