Former fromis_9 member says card loans left her in debt until she quit the group

Roh Jisun, a former member of the South Korean girl group fromis_9, has spoken about falling into debt while she was an idol.

She said she had no job or income and could not get a regular loan, so she took out a credit card loan to cover living costs.

The first loan was ₩3 million, but she said the debt grew as she borrowed more to repay earlier loans.

She said she did not think carefully about the interest because she felt desperate.

Jisun left fromis_9 in 2025, along with Lee Saerom and Lee Seoyeon.

She said she paid off her debts a year after leaving the group, while also repaying money borrowed from her older brother and rebuilding her credit.

Her account highlights how borrowing at high interest can make debt harder to manage.
