‘New Girl’ Cast Reunites at Los Angeles Charity Event
The six main stars of ‘New Girl’ reunited on Saturday at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles.
They received the Rising Phoenix Award, and Max Greenfield hosted the event.
The evening supported Chrysalis, a nonprofit that helps people overcome obstacles to finding meaningful work.
The gathering followed renewed interest in an on-screen reunion after Greenfield said on television that scripts for a revival had been written.
The cast and creator Liz Meriwether joked about his claim, and confirmed there are no real plans for a reunion right now.
Greenfield apologized for the confusion and said his comment accidentally drew attention to Chrysalis.
The event also honored other people for their work, including former Chrysalis participant Guadalupe Rios, who now works for Caltrans.
