Dodgers and Brewers Open NLCS Rematch in Milwaukee

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers opened Game 1 of the National League Championship Series in Milwaukee on Sunday.

The teams also met in last season’s NLCS, when the Dodgers swept Milwaukee.

The Brewers had beaten Los Angeles in all six of their regular-season meetings that year, but still lost the series.

In Game 1 of that NLCS, the Dodgers won 2-1 after Blake Treinen struck out Brice Turang with the bases loaded in the ninth inning.

In this game, Andy Pages drove in a run for Los Angeles, and Shohei Ohtani was batting fourth in the Dodgers’ lineup.

Christian Yelich was not in Milwaukee’s starting lineup, while Kyle Tucker was batting eighth for Los Angeles.

The game was still underway in the available updates, so its final result was not yet given.
