Zurich Zoo plans a stronger focus on conservation, research and education

Zurich Zoo plans major changes before its 100th anniversary in 2029.

The zoo says its work will focus more on protecting species, research, education and animal habitats.

A commentary says some familiar attractions, including the penguins, may go.

The changes matter because they could alter what visitors, especially families, experience at the zoo.
