Valcambi plans Hong Kong precious metals refinery with Shiu Wing Steel

Valcambi and Shiu Wing Steel want to set up a precious metals refinery in Hong Kong.

They have signed a letter of intent, which means they plan to study the joint project but have not confirmed a deal.

The planned site would include storage facilities and serve customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

The companies have not said how much it would cost or when it might open.
