Seoul apartment had South Korea’s highest average monthly management fee
Nine One Hannam in Seoul had the highest average apartment management fee in South Korea last year, at 1,701,847 won per household each month.
Two other Seoul complexes also averaged more than 1 million won per month: I-Park Samsung-dong and Hannam The Hill.
Outside Seoul, a Busan complex had the highest average fee, at 918,389 won per household per month.
The figures cover 15,684 apartment complexes and about 9.98 million households.
They include heating, electricity and water charges tied to each household’s use, as well as other management costs.
A lawmaker called for clearer information so residents can check and compare fees by area and apartment complex.
Nine One Hannam in Seoul had South Korea’s highest average monthly apartment management fee last year, at 1,701,847 won per household.

IHPark Samseong-dong in Gangnam District ranked second at 1,226,292 won, followed by Hannam The Hill at 1,191,321 won.
The figures were announced on October 14 by lawmaker Jung Dong-man, based on data from the Korea Real Estate Board.
The data covered 15,684 apartment complexes, or about 9.98 million households, and included individual-use charges such as heating, electricity and water.
