Ryan Garcia criticizes interviewer over question to Conor Benn

Ryan Garcia has criticized an interviewer’s question to Conor Benn about Benn’s loss to Garcia.

Garcia kept his WBC welterweight title after stopping Benn by technical knockout in the second round last month in Las Vegas.

In a recent interview, Gunman Boxing interviewer Wesley Graham asked Benn what happened in the fight and described the knockout in blunt terms.

Benn said a difficult weight cut had affected his performance and said he would bounce back.

Garcia said Graham’s question was disrespectful and urged Benn not to tolerate such comments.

The exchange has drawn attention because Garcia, who beat Benn, is now publicly defending him against the interviewer’s wording.

The provided information does not say whether Graham or Benn responded to Garcia’s criticism.
