Zayda Steel recalls nerves and excitement at first ROH pay-per-view main event

Zayda Steel, who wrestles for Ring of Honor (ROH) and AEW, recalled her first pay-per-view main event in a recent interview.

It was at ROH Supercard of Honor, where she competed for the ROH Women’s World Championship.

The match was a six-wrestler Survival of the Fittest contest, and the winner had to outlast the other five.

Steel said she felt both nervous and excited, describing the experience as surreal.

She was eliminated first after Athena, the defending champion, sent her through a chair.

Athena kept the title by eliminating Maya World last.

Steel had made her ROH debut on the Final Battle pre-show the previous December.
