Shows recommended for viewers waiting for ‘Lanterns’ Season 2
Lanterns is a DC series about Hal Jordan, played by Kyle Chandler, and Green Lantern trainee John Stewart, played by Aaron Pierre.
The two investigate a mystery in rural Nebraska, bringing detective-story elements together with superhero and science-fiction themes.
The show drew strong critical acclaim and viewership, but there is no official word on a second season.
A guide suggests Fargo for viewers drawn to the small-town crime investigation, and Legion for those who want another unusual superhero story.
It also recommends Friday Night Lights for more of Chandler’s work and The Leftovers for a mystery focused on how people live with loss.
