Telangana Woman Kills Husband With Pestle Over Retirement Dispute

A man named Venkatesham was a government worker in Telangana who was getting ready to retire from his job.

He and his wife Rajamani kept arguing about his retirement money and the property they owned.

Rajamani wanted the retirement money put in her name, or she wanted the property split between them.

Late one Sunday night, the argument became very serious in their home.

Police say Rajamani hit Venkatesham with a pestle.

Venkatesham was hurt very badly and later died from his injuries.

Police came to the house and took Rajamani into custody.

She is now being questioned about what happened.

Police are still investigating to find out exactly what happened and why.
