Four Men Caught Trying Tantric Spell on Chhattisgarh Chief Justice
Man Uses Chhattisgarh Chief Justice's Photo In Ritual To Get Relative's Bail · NDTV

Some men in a village in India thought they could use magic to help a family member get out of jail.

Four of them went to a cremation ground late at night, a place where bodies are burned.

They placed a photograph of an important judge in the middle of a strange ceremony.

They believed the ritual would make the judge agree to let their relative out on bail.

The relative was in prison because of a serious stabbing case.

Villagers noticed the strange activity and surrounded the group.

Three men ran away in the dark, but the villagers caught one man named Rishikesh Kumar and handed him to the police.

Police found items like fish, lemons, coconuts, and red powder at the spot.

The man said an online magic expert had shown them the ritual in a video.

Police say magic cannot win bail and are looking for the others involved.
