Maruti Suzuki Raises Prices Up To Rs 30,000 Across Models
Maruti Suzuki is a company that makes many cars in India.
In August 2026, the company made a lot of its cars more expensive.
That means people now have to pay more money to buy them.
The company says the reason is that it costs more to make cars and the world economy is changing.
The Baleno, a popular small car, got the biggest price increase — up to 30,000 rupees more.
The electric car called eVitara also got a big increase of up to 20,000 rupees.
Smaller, cheaper cars like the Alto K10 and WagonR only went up a little bit, by about 2,500 rupees.
Maruti Suzuki still thinks people want small cars and plans to sell 3 million cars every year.
The company wants to keep small cars within reach of its customers.
Maruti Suzuki increased prices across its Arena and Nexa range from August 2026, citing rising commodity costs and global economic factors.
