Sagar Pictures Launches Seven-Part Shrimad Bhagavatam Cinematic Saga

Sagar Pictures Entertainment is making a series of movies about the Shrimad Bhagavatam.

The series will have seven live-action films.

The first film is called Vishnurata.

The Sagar family previously created the famous television shows Ramayan and Shri Krishna.

Ramanand Sagar's grandsons, Akash Sagar Chopra and Amrit Sagar, are directing the new project.

The filmmakers want to use modern technology and large sets to tell these old spiritual stories.

Much of the work is taking place at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

They hope the films will introduce the stories to a new generation while respecting their cultural and spiritual meaning.
