PM Modi to Visit Chirang in January
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Chirang in January.
The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief, Hagrama Mohilary, announced this and said the visit will help with development in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
The BTC will support the visit to make sure everything goes smoothly.
The government has also approved new railway projects in the area, like the Kokrajhar–Gelephu railway line, which will help people travel and do business more easily.
Other railway projects in places like Pathsala, Nanglam, Rangia, and Sangdruk Jonkar have also been approved, showing that the state and central governments are working together for better development.

BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary announced the visit and pledged full support from the BTC.
The Kokrajhar–Gelephu railway line has been sanctioned by the Centre for improved regional connectivity.

The BTC submitted these proposals soon after forming the government, highlighting coordinated efforts between the state and the Centre.
