ISRO Invites Indian Industry for Space Station

India is building its own space station called the Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS).

ISRO has asked Indian companies to help build the first part of the space station, called BAS-01.

This part will be 3.8 meters wide and 8 meters tall and made of special aluminum.

The space station will have five parts in total and should be ready by 2035.

ISRO wants companies to send their ideas by March 8, 2026.

The government has given money for this project, which is part of the bigger Gaganyaan program.

This space station will help India do important research in space and prepare for future missions to the moon.
