Flower-Made Ganpati Idol From Mumbai Pandals Wins Hearts
A group in Koparkhairane makes a special Ganpati idol using flowers and soil.
People call it “Bappa Fulancha,” which means a flower-made Bappa.
The flowers come from holy places and important Ganesh mandals.
Flowers from Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir have been used in past idols.
This year, flowers from popular Mumbai mandals were also included.
The group then brings the idol to Navi Mumbai in a trolley.
Its members pull the trolley themselves for 40 kilometres.
Devotees welcomed the idol in Koparkhairane on August 17.
