Tamil Nadu Tourism Pavilion Opens at Paris Travel Market
Tamil Nadu opened a special tourism pavilion at a large travel event in Paris.
The event is called IFTM Top Resa 2026.
Many travel companies and tourism workers from around the world are attending.
The pavilion shows places to visit in Tamil Nadu, including historic sites, hills, wildlife areas, and beaches.
It also presents local food, crafts, wellness activities, and village experiences.
Tourism officials met travel companies from France and other countries.
They hope these meetings will create new tour plans and partnerships.
Tamil Nadu also started a program to invite travel professionals to discover the state.
The goal is to bring more international visitors to Tamil Nadu.

The September 15–17 exhibition brings together more than 1,650 travel companies and nearly 32,000 tourism professionals.
The pavilion showcases Tamil Nadu’s heritage, culture, cuisine, wildlife, spirituality, wellness, and adventure offerings.
Officials promoted emerging destinations, community-based travel, medical tourism, eco-tourism, and curated visitor itineraries.
The state launched the “Discover Tamil Nadu – International Edition 2026–27” FAM Trip initiative and held B2B meetings with global tourism stakeholders.
