Jharkhand protest: thousands march on assembly; BJP leaders detained
In a state called Jharkhand, many people are upset about government job exams.
They believe the exams were not fair, so they are called job aspirants because they want government jobs.
On Monday, thousands of them marched to the state assembly building in the city of Ranchi.
Their group is called the JPSC JSSC Reform Manch, and their leader is a student named Ravindra Paswan.
He said students came from all 24 districts of Jharkhand to join the march.
Some leaders of a political party called the BJP also protested near the Chief Minister's house.
The police detained around 50 of those leaders, including Babulal Marandi, while they were protesting.
The Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, is the head of the state government, and the BJP blames his government for not listening to the students.
The government says most of the protesters' demands have been noted.
The protesters say their march will be completely peaceful and follow the rules, and they just want the job selection process to be fair and clear.
