Actor Nagarjuna shares cyber fraud ordeal at Telangana awareness programme
Nagarjuna is a famous movie actor in India.
He went to a special event about staying safe online in Hyderabad, where he warned everyone about people who trick others on the internet.
He said that even he was tricked a few years ago, when someone pretending to be a bank worker cheated him.
Another time, someone made him put money into a fake project.
He also said some of his family and friends were trapped by tricksters for a few hours in a fake 'digital arrest'.

Nagarjuna takes online safety very seriously and changes his phone password every week and his Wi-Fi password every month.
He wants everyone to ask the Telangana police for help if a cyber criminal tries to cheat them online.
Telugu actor Nagarjuna Akkineni attended the 'Tiranga Ka Suraksha' Cyber Security Awareness programme organized by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau in Hyderabad on Friday.
He revealed that about four years ago he was cheated by a fake caller impersonating bank staff, who approached him with an investment opportunity.
About five years ago, he said, he was forced to invest money in a project by someone posing as a bank official.
He recounted that some of his close ones were trapped in a 'digital arrest' for a few hours, and that a relative in Iran was told by fraudsters posing as police officials that drugs had been found in their baggage.
He advised vigilance, saying he changes his mobile password every week and Wi-Fi password every month and avoids taking selfies.
