Decoy Plane Tactic: Trump, Clinton Used Secret Aircraft
Presidents sometimes need to travel in secret so bad people cannot hurt them.
In July, President Donald Trump went to Turkey and helpers worried that people from Iran might try to attack his plane.
So they kept it a secret which plane he was really on.
Cameras showed him getting on the famous plane called Air Force One, but he later slipped out in a big catering truck and moved to a smaller hidden military plane.
This trick is not new.
Back in 2000, President Bill Clinton did almost the same thing when he traveled from India to Pakistan.
Everyone thought he was on Air Force One, but he was secretly on a plain, unmarked airplane.
The secret was only revealed when he stepped out of that plane in Pakistan.
One reporter was told about Clinton's secret switch, but the reporters with Trump did not know he had left.
Presidents do this to stay safe, and President Trump said he simply follows what the Secret Service and the military tell him to do.

Fomer President Bill Clinton used a similar decoy tactic in March 2000, flying from Mumbai to Islamabad on an unmarked white Gulfstream jet while a US-marked aircraft acted as a decoy.
Trump boarded the older Air Force One in front of cameras in Ankara, then was secretly moved off via an airport catering truck raised to the aircraft door and transferred to the smaller C-32A.
Clinton's switch was known in advance by at least one journalist, Susan Page of USA Today, who was briefed by Joe Lockhart and other White House officials; Trump's travelling press reportedly did not know about the swap.
Trump confirmed the aircraft switch, saying he follows the Secret Service and military, and speculated the plane he actually flew on may have been at greater risk than the decoy.
