Delhi HC Orders Verification of Nitish Katara Murder Convict's Wedding

In 2002, Nitish Katara was murdered.

Vikas Yadav, one of the people convicted of the crime, is currently in jail.

Vikas sought bail, claiming he was getting married on September 5th.

Nitish Katara's mother says this is a lie and that he actually got married in July.

She believes Vikas made up the wedding date to get out of jail temporarily.

She asked the court to punish him for lying.

The Delhi High Court told the police to check when Vikas really got married and report back.

Vikas is already serving a long prison sentence.
