PM Modi’s 1,500 Gifts Offered at Culture-Focused Auction
More than 1,500 gifts given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi are being offered in an online auction.
The gifts come from different parts of India.
They include temple models, paintings, clothing, sculptures and sports items.
Some objects also show India’s technology and development.
One item is a signed jersey from the Indian Para Table Tennis team.
Another is a shooting jacket linked to Paralympic champion Avani Lekhara.
The auction began on September 17 at the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi.
Money raised will help protect and clean the River Ganga.
Earlier auctions raised more than Rs 50 crore for this environmental work.
