Odisha has started a new cricket tournament called the Odisha T-20 League CM Trophy.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi opened the tournament in Cuttack.

The league is meant to help young cricketers from rural areas.

Players from all 30 districts of Odisha may get a chance to show their skills.

Former cricketers Suresh Raina and Debashis Mohanty will support the league as ambassadors.

The government also plans to improve sports facilities across the state.

It has set aside Rs 4,124 crore for new stadiums.

Barabati Stadium will be renovated, and a high-tech sports complex will be built in Bhubaneswar.
