India’s September Fuel Consumption Rises 3.9% From August
India used more fuel in September than it did in August.
Total use reached 19.26 million metric tons, a rise of 3.9%.

Gasoline sales fell 4.4% from August but rose about 7.9% from a year earlier.
LPG consumption rose 8.5% month over month, while naphtha sales dropped 16.2%; both were lower year over year.
Bitumen use rose 34.7% from August, and fuel oil usage increased 5.5%; the government also cut export windfall taxes on diesel and aviation turbine fuel effective October 1.
