Ukraine Welcomes India’s Push to End the War

India’s foreign minister visited Ukraine for an important meeting.

This was the first dedicated bilateral visit by an Indian external affairs minister to Ukraine.

Ukraine’s foreign minister, Andrii Sybiha, welcomed the visit in Kyiv.

He called India a “global superpower.”

He also supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to move from endless fighting toward ending the war.

Sybiha said Russian attacks were increasing against Ukrainian cities and ports.

He said Kyiv was constantly under attack.

He thanked Jaishankar for making the visit.
