Mumbai Court Defers In-Absentia Trial Plea Until September 30
A Mumbai court is considering whether to hold a trial without six accused people being physically present.
The six people are accused of being involved in the 26/11 terror attack case.
They are believed to be living in Pakistan.
The court had issued proclamation notices for them.
Mumbai police asked the Ministry of Home Affairs to help deliver these notices through Interpol.
The ministry has not yet responded.
Because of this, prosecutors asked for more time.
The court will consider the matter again on September 30.
