BRS seeks Lokayukta probe into land allotment to CM kin-linked firm · thehansindia.com

Some leaders from a political party called BRS are unhappy about a piece of land.

The land belongs to the government and lies in a place called Rangareddy.

The government gave this land to a company called Tesseract Advanced Systems.

The BRS leaders say the land is worth a very large sum of money, around 135 to 200 crore rupees.

They say the company paid only 7 crore rupees for it, which is much less.

They think this is unfair and that someone may have done something wrong.

They say the company is connected to the family of the state's Chief Minister, the top leader of that state's government.

The BRS asked a special office called the Lokayukta to investigate.

The Lokayukta's job is to check whether leaders have misused their power.
