Rajasthan CM Offers Temple Prayers During Janmashtami Celebrations
Janmashtami is a festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited a temple in Deeg district for the festival.
He prayed for the welfare and prosperity of the people of Rajasthan.
He was accompanied by his wife and performed special religious rituals.
Many devotees also visited temples across the state.
In Jaipur, people gathered at the Govind Devji temple during the night.
The main celebration was planned for midnight.
Priests will recite hymns and perform a special ceremony using milk, curd, ghee, sugar and honey.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma offered prayers at the Shrinathji temple in Deeg district on Janmashtami.
Sharma, accompanied by his wife, performed rituals and prayed for Rajasthan’s prosperity and people’s well-being.
He also performed an ‘abhishek’ of Shri Giriraj Ji at the Mukut Mukharvind temple.
Devotees gathered at Jaipur’s Govind Devji temple, where celebrations began with the Mangala Aarti at 4 am.
Midnight celebrations will include a Panchamrit Abhishek using hundreds of litres of milk and kilograms of curd, ghee, sugar and honey.
