MP Teachers’ E-Attendance After 10:45 AM Is Invalid; Reason Must Be Given · freepressjournal.in

Teachers in a state called Madhya Pradesh use a computer system to show they have arrived at work.

This is called e-attendance.

The education department told them they must mark their attendance between 9:45 and 10:45 in the morning.

If a teacher marks it after 10:45, it will not count as valid.

That teacher will also have to explain why they were late.

Before, teachers had until 10:30 to mark their attendance.

Teachers complained about the earlier rule, so the time was made a little later.

The department did not write a formal order about the change, but the new time shows on the portal.

The department also wants officials to find schools that have no network connection.

In those schools, guest teachers could not get paid or rejoin for the new school year.
