BGUS Seeks Inquiry Into Alleged Police Conduct at Sultan Bazaar
The Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi asked Hyderabad’s police chief to investigate an incident.

The Samithi alleged that police pushed Vice President Govind Rathi and used lathis against devotees during the Agaman procession.
The incident reportedly occurred on September 4 during a procession from Rock Star Ganesh in Putlibowli to Ramkote.
BGUS requested an impartial inquiry using relevant CCTV and video footage, with action based on the findings.
The delegation also discussed police coordination for the 47th Grand Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav, scheduled for September 14–25.
