JKSSB Announces 518 Technical, Healthcare Vacancies; Applications Open September 10
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board is a government group that picks people for government jobs.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) issued Advertisement No. 08 of 2026 on August 4, 2026, for 518 vacancies across Union Territory, divisional and district cadre posts.
Online applications will be accepted from September 10, 2026 to October 9, 2026 through the official JKSSB website.
Junior Pharmacist has the highest number of vacancies at 211, followed by Junior Staff Nurse and Junior Laboratory Assistant with 48 vacancies each.
Other posts include Horticulture Technician Grade-IV, Junior Lab Technician, Female and Male Multi-Purpose Health Worker, Junior Ophthalmic Technician, Health Educator, Sanitary Inspector, Junior Theatre Technician, Supervisor, Senior Canning Attendant and Para Medical Assistant.
Only Jammu and Kashmir domiciles with valid domicile certificates can apply; selection is through a Written/OMR exam with 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer, followed by document verification.
