Ramalingeswara Rao Urges Students to Pair Education With Values
A college in Mahabubnagar held a programme for students and teachers.
Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao was the main guest.
He said education is not only about getting good marks.
He said students should also learn good values, discipline and strong character.
He warned that using mobile phones too much can be harmful.
He encouraged students to practise yoga and stay physically fit.
He also said mental strength helps people reach important goals.
Students with high marks and those who did well in competitions received awards.
An interactive student session and teacher felicitation programme were held at Jayaprakash Narayana Engineering College in Mahabubnagar.
Telugu lyricist, poet and spiritual speaker Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao attended as chief guest.
He said education should build values, discipline and character alongside academic knowledge.
Ramalingeswara Rao cautioned students against excessive mobile-phone use and encouraged yoga, fitness and mental strength.
Certificates, cheques and prizes were presented to high-achieving students and winners of PPT and Communication Skills competitions.
