Regional Films Outperform Bollywood Hit Despite Star Power

A Bollywood producer named Shailendra Singh talked on a YouTube channel about how many Indian movies fail.

He said that 94% of Bollywood films do not do well.

He also said that the actors in a movie are not the most important thing.

Instead, the story is what matters.

He compared a big Bollywood movie called Alpha, which made less than ₹50 crore.

He said that a Gujarati movie called Laalo made ₹140 crore, and a Marathi movie called Deool Band 2 made over ₹90 crore.

These two movies earned more money than Alpha.

So, he thinks that good stories can beat big stars.

He wants people to remember that the story is the key to success.
