Doctors in Nizamabad started a cricket league to teach people about the dangers of drugs.

The event’s message is to say no to drugs and yes to life and sports.

Police Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya asked young people to stay away from addictive substances.

He said sports can help people become disciplined and stay healthy.

Doctors also explained that addiction is a health condition that can be treated.

Treatment may include medicines, counselling and rehabilitation.

People affected by addiction and their families were encouraged to seek professional help.

The cricket league will continue until September 8.
