Eternal Bonds: Nader Nimai, Nal-Damayanti Debut on Aakash Aath
A TV channel called Aakash Aath in Bengal is showing two brand-new television shows.
The shows tell old and famous stories from Bengal's culture and mythology.
One show, Nader Nimai, is about Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, a wise teacher who shared a message of love, compassion and human unity.
The other show, Nal-Damayanti, is about Prince Nal and Princess Damayanti, who love each other very much.
In the story, Nal is tricked in a game of dice, loses his kingdom and is forced into exile.
Damayanti stays loyal and devoted, and her love eventually helps Nal win back his kingdom.
Both shows are about faith, sacrifice, courage and the victory of truth over evil.
Nader Nimai is already on the air, and Nal-Damayanti starts on August 17.
It will be shown Monday to Saturday at 7.30 pm.
