Mumbai Heavy Rain Follows Dry Spell, Weather Office Warns

Mumbai had very little rain for some time after July.

Then heavy rain began on Saturday night.

More rain continued across the city on Sunday morning.

Some low-lying places became flooded or waterlogged.

The weather office said more moderate or heavy rain could come.

It also warned about thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds.

Winds could reach 40 to 50 kilometres per hour.

High tides were expected on Sunday and early Monday.
