Sanjay Mishra Visits Jagannath Temple, Praises Puri’s Sacred Mahaprasad

Actor Sanjay Mishra visited Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri while working on an Odia film.

He prayed to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra.

He also received Mahaprasad, the temple’s sacred food.

Mishra said the food was truly special.

Mahaprasad is cooked in a large temple kitchen called the Rosaghara.

Cooks use earthen pots and wood-fired ovens.

Several pots can be stacked on top of one another during cooking.

The food includes rice, dal, vegetables, sweets, and other traditional dishes.

It is made without onion or garlic.

After it is offered to Lord Jagannath, it is shared with devotees.
