Dumper truck crash injures rickshaw occupants; highway accident injures family
A big dump truck was driving too fast and hit a small auto-rickshaw near a park in Mumbai.
The driver and a passenger were badly hurt.
The auto-rickshaw was smashed and traffic stopped for a bit.
Police are looking into why it happened.
Later that day, a family in a jeep crashed into a truck on a highway.
About eight people were hurt, and four are in serious condition.
Doctors are treating them.
Police are still investigating both crashes.
A high‑speed dumper truck collided with an auto‑rickshaw near Sanjay Gandhi National Park, injuring the driver and a passenger.
The auto‑rickshaw was completely damaged and traffic was briefly halted.
Mumbai Police have launched an investigation into the dumper crash.
Separately, a Trax jeep carrying about ten family members crashed into a stationary truck near Pogaon on the Mumbai–Nashik Highway.
At least eight occupants of the jeep were injured, with four in critical condition.
