Three officers from Vishrambaug Police Station were penalised for misconduct.
The incident occurred on April 4 when they took a domestic‑violence complainant to Satara.
They spent time at a roadside dhaba, Kaas Plateau, and other tourist spots instead of investigating.
The officers ignored the complainant’s requests and failed to question witnesses.
Additional Commissioner Rajesh Bansode withheld their annual increments for two years.
