Gujarat Raises Foreign Study Loan Income Eligibility Limit

Gujarat has changed a rule for students who want to study in another country.

Families can now earn up to Rs 10 lakh and still meet the income requirement for the foreign study loan scheme.

This means more students may be able to ask for financial help.

Earlier, some students could not use the scheme because their families earned more than the old limit.

The change is meant to support higher education abroad.

The decision was made by Gujarat’s Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Pradyuman Vaja and Manisha Vakil led the department.
