Former MLA Seeks White Paper on Telangana ST Promises
Ala Venkateshwar Reddy asked the Telangana government to publish a report about its promises to tribal communities.
He wants the report to show which promises have been completed.
Reddy said September 17 is an important day for tribal people in Telangana.
He praised the earlier BRS government for increasing tribal reservations from 6% to 10%.
He also said that more than 4,000 thandas were made into gram panchayats under that government.
The BRS plans to hold rallies in tribal thandas on September 17.
Reddy also complained about unfinished roads, power shortages and water-related issues.
He asked the government to focus on public problems instead of what he called vindictive politics.
