BJP Ally Warns Party Will Be Voted Out Without Reservation
A minister in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh has warned his own ruling party to do something very important.
The minister, Sanjay Nishad, leads a small political party called NISHAD.
He wants the government to give special benefits called 'reservation' to his community so they can get jobs and school places more easily.
He said that other political parties ignored this demand and people voted them out of power.
Nishad warned that the BJP could be voted out too if it does not listen.
He said this at his party's birthday celebration in the city of Lucknow.
He also asked another government minister to take his request to the top leaders.
However, not everyone believes he is serious.
A spokesperson for the Samajwadi Party said Nishad is just pretending, because he has been with the BJP for ten years and keeps his minister job.
Uttar Pradesh will hold elections soon, so this warning could matter a lot.
