Penny stock GACM Technologies hits 5% upper circuit after results
GACM Technologies is a company that makes computer and phone technology.
Its shares cost less than one rupee, which is why people call it a penny stock.
On Thursday, its share price went up by the maximum amount allowed in one day — 5% — even though the rest of the stock market was quiet.
The company recently told everyone about its money results for the first part of the year.
It earned a profit of about 1.51 crore rupees, a little less than before.
It also said it has paid off all its loans, which is very good news for a company.
GACM signed a big deal worth 15 crore rupees to build phone and internet services with another company called Tesync Technology.
Now it wants to raise almost 50 crore rupees by selling new shares, and it priced them higher than the minimum allowed.
When companies share good news, people often want to buy their shares, and that made the price go up a lot in the past month.
GACM Technologies shares jumped 5% to hit the ₹0.76 upper circuit on the BSE on 13 August despite a muted Sensex session.
Q1FY27 standalone net profit came in at ₹1.51 crore, down from ₹1.57 crore quarter-on-quarter and ₹3.03 crore year-on-year.
Revenue from operations stood at ₹4.10 crore, compared with ₹4.85 crore QoQ and ₹5.87 crore YoY.
The company disclosed a ₹15 crore agreement with Tesync Technology for IT and ITES solutions, running until 30 September 2027.
GACM opened a QIP of up to ₹49.50 crore at ₹1 per share, about 49% above the SEBI regulatory floor price of ₹0.67.
The stock has risen 56% over the past month, with a 52-week range of ₹0.40 to ₹0.94.
