Some people got very sick after eating a birthday cake, and eleven people — four women and seven children — started throwing up.

They were taken to Vijaylaxmi Hospital in Nalasopara, near Mumbai in India.

Doctors checked everyone and said they were stable.

Normally they could have gone home within a few hours, but because it was a special medico-legal case, they had to stay for 24 hours.

Everyone was discharged at 8 pm on Sunday.

Some people claimed part of a dead lizard was found in the cake.

Officials from the Food and Drug Administration looked into it.

They could not prove the claim, so the reason everyone got sick is still unclear.

Everyone was safe and got to go home.
