Sitar For Mental Health Tour announces UK, US, Canada stops

Rishab Rikhiram Sharma plays the sitar, a string instrument from India.

He is bringing his special concerts called Sitar For Mental Health to the UK, Canada and the US.

The tour will start in London on October 1.

Then he will play in Washington D.C., Toronto, New York, Oakland and Los Angeles in November.

At his shows, he mixes old Indian music with calm electronic sounds and lo-fi beats.

He also talks openly with the audience about feelings like anxiety and depression.

He guides everyone through breathing exercises to help them feel calm and safe.

Rishab learned from the famous sitar player Pandit Ravi Shankar.

Lots of people loved his shows in India — more than 100,000 came to see him.
