The Adani Group says it plans to invest more than Rs 6 lakh crore in Maharashtra.

The money would support energy, airports, city development, data centres and coal gasification.

The group says projects worth Rs 2.6 lakh crore are already finished or being built.

It is managing Mumbai’s main airport and developing a new airport in Navi Mumbai.

The new airport could eventually serve more than 90 million passengers each year.

The group also supplies electricity to more than three million homes and establishments in Mumbai.

It says more than 60 per cent of that electricity comes from renewable sources.

In Dharavi, it says people will get modern homes before relocation and that local small businesses will be protected.
