Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway toll hike effective July 21

The Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway has seen its toll rates go up again, just a few months after the last increase.

This is the second hike this year, and in the last three years, the toll prices have gone up by about 37%.

Now, a single trip for cars costs Rs 185, and a monthly pass for 50 trips costs Rs 6,100.

People who live within 20 km of the toll plazas can still get a local monthly pass for Rs 360.

Some people are not happy about the frequent increases, but the NHAI says it's necessary to keep the expressway in good shape.
