India did really well at the International Chemistry Olympiad in 2026.

Four Indian students won gold medals, which is the best India has ever done.

The competition had students from many countries, and India tied for first place with China, Vietnam, and a student from Russia.

The event was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and it lasted from July 10 to 19.

The Indian students who won are Debadatta Priyadarshi, Harshit Singhal, Kabeer Chhillar, and Sandeep Kuchi.

The team was led by Prof. Subhajit Bandyopadhyay and supported by mentors and observers.

This shows how talented Indian students are in chemistry.
