Mahendra Singh Dhoni was one of India's greatest cricket players.

Dhoni played for India for about 15 years and was the only captain to win all three major ICC limited-overs trophies.

His team won the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the ODI World Cup in 2011, when he famously finished the final with a six.

In 2013, India won the Champions Trophy under his captaincy.

He scored thousands of runs and collected 829 dismissals as a wicketkeeper.

After retiring from the national team, he kept playing for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.

That team won the IPL five times, most recently in 2023.
